The chain of events over the last few years have all lead to this final encounter. Mallaidh, the Dark Duan Fairy Queen, has played our heroes like pawns in a chess game. Now that she has them cornered, she unleashes her mighty army of demi humans and reveals the most evil and powerful beings the worlds have ever seen.
"I find that children's novels are amongst the hardest to write. Not only do you have to capture a child's attention and keep them reading, you will also have to challenge their imagination and cause them to think outside the box. I believe that the author captured this quite well in this book. The characters Dougal and his twin Derry while traveling will meet up on news of a kidnapping that only their dragon friend can help with. As they journey off to rescue the princess they will become true heroes. I believe this is one of the best children's' adventure books out there and more so I think the author captured the story flawlessly. The scenes were very vivid and as I read it there was no doubt in my mind that my niece would not love it. This is a truly good book. I highly recommend it."
